Toray Plastics (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd, South East Asia's largest producer of ABS resin, manufactures high quality ABS resin under the brand name of TOYOLAC.

TOYOLAC is a thermoplastic material known as ABS resin which is composed of acrylonitrile, butadiene and styrene.

The ABS Powerhouse in Malaysia

Established on 3rd July 1990, with capacity of 330,000 tonnes per year, Toray Plastics (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. has since built a reputation as a leading ABS resins manufacturer.

Toray Plastics (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd produces general purpose ABS and others compound resin related to ABS and AS resin such as flame retardant ABS, heat resistant ABS, chemical resistant ABS, glass fibre reinforced ABSG and ASG resins.

Toray Plastics (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. is the only Japanese ABS manufacturer that has the ABS polymerization plant operating outside Japan and offering the same quality of product as it's parent plant in Japan to the worldwide market.

Combines with the capacity of Toray's ABS plant in Chiba, Japan; the Toray Group has a total ABS production capacity of 402,000 tonnes per year, making it one of the largest ABS producers in the world.

Toray is the earliest company to start manufacturing and sales of Transparent ABS in Japan domestic market since 1966. Today, Toray is the largest Transparent ABS producer in the world with capacity of about 80,000 tonnes per year.
